Problems attaching avatars?

I keep getting an error that my avatar must be of \".jpg, .gif, or .png format\", but I've tried all three and it still won't accept my new one.

I've ensured its' no bigger than 80x80 and no larger than 12k. None of the formats above will upload.

Are there currently known issues with avatars, or am I overlooking something silly?

Not that I know of. I know a few users have had a problem with this in the past, and the workaround was to upload the photo to a web site and link it from there.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've had the same problem last several times I've messed with mine.
I always solved it with the link to photobucket.

But go ahead and tinker with the web innards. I think the size restriction is where the bug is. 80 pixels is too tight. It puts pressure on the cascading resizerator. :?

Also, maybe increase the grayscale sensitivity compensator, to reduce vertical pixel resolution matrix to human eye inversionary pulse sringlyexity nerve quadrant indexation. That may better approximate a more dynamic saturation, and still reference histiogramic contrast level to incorporate a AS3 vector blending glyphs. Other image colorimetric attributes such as brightness processing can be sampled through the buttocksomifier with less subpixel scaling calculation. ...just sayin'.

I've had problems several times too (I change mine often), but always seem to get it worked out. The only one I haven't been able to get working is the one of me n Shania in the hot tub. Something about a court order... :oops:

Ive had the same prblem uploading av. The problem is surely in the .php script. Its not loading the picture its just going straight to the error dialog. . Debug the .php script command that calls/holds pictures.
