Jimmy Bruno seems to take a different route, rejecting modes, and developing the ear to follow the melody line.. Inside, Outside Note method..I find Jimmy's method to be awesome as well..

Both sites are interactive, as the teacher's, either Jimmy or Andre's, gives you and assignment, you complete it, and turn in your assignment, via video, for critiquing..
In both cases, we're talking about, world renown, guitarists, who can play, and can more importantly TEACH..
I've been with Jimmy for 2 years, and my playing has grown in leaps and bounds!!!

Well....My wife thinks it's for my son...LOL...
So now I'm studying with Jimmy Bruno on his site, and Andreas on his site as well...

Both guys, great teachers, great players, and great guys!!!!
Only thing I haven't tried yet are lessons like Bruno and Andreas offer.
Sure can't beat the price.
Looks like a good learning site. I don't know about him \"rejecting modes\" however. Looking at his curricula page, he devotes quite a few lessons in his Jazz section on various modes.
