Jamman Problem - Stop/Clear Pedal Won't Function

Hi,
I use my Jamman for on the fly looping at live gigs. Yesterday the right pedal that controls stop/clear stopped working. The loop was playing at the time, and would not stop. Not a good thing. I had to disconnect the power to clear it. However, this did not fix the problem. The stop/clear pedal still would not work the remainder of the gig. Not fun. Any ideas/fixes? Thanks. PS. I have been using the pedal for a couple of years with no problems.

  • If you push in where the pedal hinges to the chassis, one of the two silver dowels with the tip of a pen you can remove the pedal. Underneath there is a rubber stopper attached to a post that goes down into the chassis to make contact with the switch. Check the rubber stopper to see if it makes contact, and you can manually test the switch with a small screwdriver. If the rubber stopper is worn down, there is a spare rubber stopper in a recess under the pedal that you can remove to replace the worn out one.
If the switch doesn't switch manually, you'll need to have the switch replaced.
