Another GNX4 for Backup or Wait for . . . ?

As a serious hobbyist with occassional gigs, I've been pretty much dependent on my GNX4. For one thing, it's made in the great USA and it does what I need (plus some, actually).

For the past few months, I've been wondering . . .

Is it safe to buy a spare GNX4 (from Craigslist) for backup or are there any rumors or whispers about a (gasp) GNX5? :shock:

    As I hear it, the GNX line is over; they're into the RP's now.

    Myself, I totally cherish my GNX4 and I can't imagine having to start all over with something else. I also love the OBR and really count on that.

    With those in mind, I've SERiously considered finding myself another GNX4 in really great shape, to have for the awful day when mine gives up the ghost (I've had it for 4 years).

    Yeah, mine's almost 4 years old, too. Well, if there's no GNX5 in the future, I'm gonna start checking Craigslist . . . I helped a buddy of mine get one on CL for $225.
