Digitech Bass Multi Voice Chorus for violin?

Does anyone know if the Digitech Bass Multi Voice Chorus pedal is any good for use with a violin? Maybe a sily question, but somebody did tell me a bass amp is good with a fiddle so maybe so is this pedal?

    My gut feeling would be that the guitar multi-chorus is better voiced for violin's range, but the bass one is pretty flexible. A friend of mine, bassist who plays on the full range of a six-string, gets very cool effects out of it.
