Laguna guitar sponsor

Ok, flame me if you wish but:

Our lead guitar player is the project manager for Laguna guitars (guitar center) and we are doing a youth benefit concert advertising Laguna Guitars and GC for primarily 8th graders. Two sets of 30 minutes apiece with Q & A. It will be fun, but we have to play with all GC equipment and Laguna guitars. I told them, no problem, I will play whatever they give me. I'm not proud, and I will still get a good sound.

    Sweet! Go with it and have fun. Laguna may even offer the guitars to you for your services, or offer them to you at well below cost.

    sounds like a cool opportunity :D

    if ya get a chance,ask the guitar tech on staff if he can make sure that the guitar they hand you is set up right or you'll sound \"cheezy\" past the 12th fret :wink:

    I remember when Laguna was Brawley Guitars. I played one at Mars Music. Seemed like good solid axes that got caught up in the demise of Mars Music. Awesome of you to do a benefit and cool that they let you use their equipment. Hopefully they are doing the loading and unloading too. :P
