ACDC and SUPERMODELS

Hey,

I am an owner of the MFX Supermodels. and they rock. I have tried the ACDC patch and its cool, however, id like to know what amps ACDC use to get their sound! Iv googled it, but cant find anything! Id like to open up an amp supermodel and go from there. But seen as theres so many, i dont know where to start!

This is how i like to store my amps to the GNX4. i choose an amp say PEAVEY jsx, and save the cleanest sound on pedal one (i rename the bank 'JSX') and progress through crunch, heavy crunch all way up to a 'lead; sound on pedal 5. Id like to do the same thing with the amps ACDC use so i can get the whole range of sounds.

Just another one, anyone one kow what the most expensive amp model on supermodels is?

And id like to know peoples favoiurite patches, so i can try them myself!

I believe that Angus and Malcolm are straight up Marshall guys. Very little effects if any.
  • Marshalls. Angus got his pick. Very, very little effects or reverb. Gibson classic pickups. The rythm and lead guitar definately have a different tone.
  • Can't help with any patches . But Angus - originally 69/70 SG stock p'ups on 1st 1/2 dozen lps. 100 watt Marshall SL's. Malcolm - 63 Gretsch jet Firebird, Filter Tron p'up at the bridge, no connected tone pots , volume only. Modified Marshall bass head. Happy recreating!
  • For GNX3000 SS, I found these two:

    E:\\AMP PATCHES and ACM FILES\\MARSHALL\\PLEXI\\PLEXI Acdc lead.acm
    E:\\AMP PATCHES and ACM FILES\\MARSHALL\\PLEXI\\PLEXI Angus.acm

    and

    E:\\ARTIST PATCHES\\ANGUS 2.g3kp
    E:\\ARTIST PATCHES\\ANGUS.g3kp

    So yeah.
