GNX4 couple with VL4 ??anyone?

I now have both....vl4 about 6 months gnx4 about 6 hours.
will be used in live and recording situation......just would like to hear from people who are experience with this. :D

    VL4, is that the Vocalist Live 4 by Digitech or some other unit?

    I've used both live, but I'm not the singer. Sometimes it's tricky to get the chord at the right time for the VL, for example when either the rhythm guitar or vocal line is syncopated. Other than that, it works out great.

    thank you for the reply........this week end I will try to use the mp3 playback feature on the gnx4.
    I will play back the mp3 song that I recorded last week in the studio(basic acoustic performance with drums, all on separated tracks)record that on to the 8 track recorder on the gnx4....then record with the bass guitar , followed by electric guitar using the effects on the gnx4 and some back up vocals.......on the vocals! I wonder if I could somehow use the vl4 ...by running just a guitar track to the guitar input on the vl4 ,.....output to the recorder to the .......and sing using .....maybe the unison effect or whatever feels good .....object is to create a single track on the gnx4 which includes back up vocals.....thats the plan anyways.............I will let you know next week how it turned out.
