  • Jes' fix it. New connector. If it's a problem at the cube, g has some good methods.
  • Show me these methods o wise one
  • It's very easy. You just set me up with your wife's hott single friend, and then I come over and fix your p/s. 8)

Either that, or you tell us which connection of your p/s is bad; if it's the plug end, it's easy to fix. If it's the end at the cube, you have to open it up and re-do it. g did a post once that details it.

But I'd MUCH rather hook up with your wife's hott friend.
  • Hey i fixed mine a while ago. mine was bad around the strain relief groment thingy. I took the cube apart along the seem scoring with an exacto knife then prying open with a flat blade. I then left the solder joints at the fuse & Tx-former alone I just cut the leads off the cord at a part of it past the damaged section restripped the wires tinned & soldered them back in place. I was sure to leave some strain releife so as the cord is pulled & moved around it does not focus on that weak part of the cord. I used lots of electrical tape to isolate the solder joints, also built up that area were the now spent groment was, and so it does not pull at the point were the groment was. Lastly I taped the housing back together around the seam & also taped the line cord feed side to the housing so it does not pul on the part the wires pass thru the housing. I mean hey it might not look the prettiest! BUT it took me 15min & cost me zero dollars with no down time! 8) I mean Hey I already had the soldering Iron, solder, exacto, ectrical tape, and flat blade srewdriver on hand. anyhow I know this isin't articulted the best! BUT I'm sure you can get the jist of what you need to do & look for when you get things opend? Be sure to check the fuse while your in there as well!
  • Yuh, that's the procedure I was talking about...IF the problem is at the cube...

So can I still meet your wife's hott friend?? :D
  • Thanks for the help partch exactly what I needed.

Sorry Shredd I don't have a wife, a lil to young for that, so no wife's hott friend, but if you can get scarlett to break up with van wilder I'm sure I can find someone who can fix your powerpack.

    Anyway thanks for the help
