Tascam 2488 24-track digital mixer/recorder for sale-

Hi guys - I'm putting my Tascam 2488 (first gen) up for sale. It's in mint condition except for one thing - once in a while the jog wheel will get a little twitchy and jump around a bit when you operate it. Probably just needs a little cleaning, but I'm not gonna open it up. And, like all Tascam's, it's a little fussy about using CD-RW's. It does CD-R's flawlessly though.
I've never ever had anything like the lockups, crashes, or firmware problems everyone talks about. Good unit.
So what if your friend owns Jimmy Page's doubleneck. You could own my Tascam!!! 8)

Your chances may have improved, shredd, now that her ex-bf just got 4 1/2 years for fraud and embezzlement.
Maybe you should ask him if you can borrow HIS place (mansion?), and invite her over for \"dinner and a movie\", since he won't be staying there for a while...

So I don't understand.

You love this unit.

You're not strapped for cash.

You record all the time.

How did you decide to sell it? And what is your new recording solution?

I do love the Tascam. I record on it a lot and I like using it. It's a great unit.
So who sez I'm not strapped for cash? Do you have any idea how much it costs to call Anne Hathaway every 20 minutes?!?

Anyway...I'm upgrading, that's all. Recording all the time gives me something to do to take my mind off the fact that Anne isn't returning my calls. :?
