Happy Independence Day!
I'm relaxing today with family and friends at the lake.
Water skiing, and grilling...perfect weather today...blue skies and mid-70's.
Well, I hadta work this morning, so I missed the parade and the FD's pancake breakfast... :?
But it's a gorgeous day in the mtns and I'm enjoying the afternoon off.
I'm not grilling anything, but my brain's a-steamin' as I try to figure out how to get Anne Hathaway over to my house so I can get her in the hot tub and comfort her in her time of difficulty... :twisted:
And...PS: while it's not a holiday dedicated to them, I'd like to put in THANKS to anyone who performs military service, for keeping America free, safe, and the best country in the world. No matter WHAT gas prices are. 8)
Well the west coast was cookin! Family, friends, food. and fireworks. I'm grateful for all the freedoms we have THANKS TO THOSE WHO FOUGHT FOR IT and of course thank God!!
Turned out to be a fine day. Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we did
Burgers and Brauts, visit with family/friends. Overcast early then cleared up!
Neighbors behind us in a cul de sac had a nice display on the 3rd for a block party. City f-works were better than usual. They set off one teaser finale and peeps walked o their cars then the bigger barrage went off like 4-5 min later and everyone came back to the fields.
Well I had a great birthday celebration! Went sailing with Capt. Morgan on his launch and caught some fine walleyes and a pascal of perch. So the freezers full! But I know Jims :twisted: lurking around! He always gets angry when I hang with the Capt.. :P
And the fire works were a blast <---- get it! a blast ha ha ha
I actually celebrated thursday, friday, and saturday. Saturday night we had a bonfire in a friend's backyard. For reference, the guy in the picture is ~5'11\"
