This Guitar is extremely versatile It has EMG Pickups is all Mahogony with just kind of a mat finish that shows off the wood!! Anyhow here is what it sounds like. • Good stuff partch. Nice meaty tone outta that Paul, even though I tend to not favor EMG pups. How'd you like the git'r, compared to other LP's?
  • I only ever played 1 other Les Paul. An Older 70ish Custome. That thing was a Tank & did not play all that well as compare to my RG! This thing is realy Identical to the JS1000 Same weight about Tad bigger neck Versatile Pickup configuration!! Lot of great tones in there! I'm an Ibanez Guy but I could see playing this thing regularly!! Honestly I liked it almost as much as the JS 8) :D Anyhow the coolest thing is the stained wood with matt finish I mean you can smell the wood & see the grain ALL Mahogony. Beautifull guitar & yeah I ageree about EMG's BUT in this thing they sound fine Maybe a Tad Muddy in certain configs with heavier distortion BUT clean they sounded fantastic!!
  • Cool Partch, I prefer your stuff with the old whammy bar though  . I'm also an Ibanez guy, my rg570 feels as though it was built especially for me.

Never played a Gibson, sure they are great, just a tad expensive
  • Great effort there Partch. I was waiting for the big lead solo to kick in, but didn't happen on this round. I guess you can always add that in latter. Sounds like you were having some fun though, so just keep at it and eventually it will just flow naturally. Thanks for sharing. :D John
  • Booming sounds, like it all, great post, thanks.
  • Partch,
I really liked the rhythm tone that you had.
I can hear you finally got some drums figured out.
What are you using? They sound good.
I have not been to this forum in a while as I have been busy with my new purchases
(Sonar 7 and a Lambda interface) trying to figure them out.
Glad I stopped by and caught your post.
