Long Time
Started working on this last night. I am just debating what to use for some smooth solo's...not too much, maybe pedal steel or some acoustic picking.
What do you guys think would fit in the breaks?

Top stuff 8)
I would go for a lightly overdriven guitar for the solo, but thats me
Here is the song with the breaks filled. I went with a light acoustic picking style.

Anyway, consider it a demo...if you were to go in studio, a good producer and/or engineer, some great musicians, it'd be incredible. Goes to show the rest of us hacks what good songwriting (THE most important element of music) can sound like. Great stuff. 8)
I'm just hoping that someone in Nashville will think the same thing. \"with a good producer, engineer and musicians, the song could go somewhere\"
Part of the reason I keep the recordings simple...as much as I would love to just WAIL out a nice solo...ha-ha!!! I want them to hear what they could do instead. It's hard not to do too much.
I'm doing a new one tonight called \"When I Roam\" lol should be called \"when I moan\" ha-ha!!! It's a hobo song. Should be interesting.
Liked the song.
I ended up going with the acoustic picking for the breaks. Really laid back though.
I still haven't figured out how to remove or edit a file from the DT community page so its on my soundclick site
