Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd Cover
Hi Guys,
I've given up trying to upload to the Digitech site, it just wont work for me.
So I've opened a Soundclick page.
I've been playing about with a backing track from guitarbt.com and posted my results.
I know I haven't got the guitar sounds quite right but had a lot of fun trying
Now all I've got to worry about is a copyright lawyer coming to kick my ass for uploading it on soundclick! GULP!!
Had to get your thoughts though. Let me know what you think,
Cheers!
Greg

I wish I had done it all, but can't sing to save my life!
In fact, I reckon I'd struggle to talk in tune!
The backing track was Vocals, Drums and Bass.
I added:
Rythm guitar left
Rythm guitar right
Accented rythm guitar left
Distorted guitar (playing single note and chords)
Lead Guitar
And the kids in the scool yard at the end from a wav file I found online!
All on GNX3 directly into my PC and mixed in Sonar.
The hardest part for me with Pink Floyd covers is getting the fantastic tones that David Gilmour comes up with, I haven't got it with the rythm guitars but think I got close (ish) with the lead.
I've been working on Shine on you Crazy Diamond (backing track less all guitars on guitarbt.com) but have scrapped it at the moment as I just cant get the correct tone to do it justice.
Thanks anyway peeps. Wish I could sing... :?
