This is an idea I started with a while back. It's not perfect but neither am I.
Sorry if the volume is a little low, I'm still learning recording and mixing.
Set up is :
GNX3000
Carvin SC90 for rythm: twinchorus patch
Carvin SC90 for lead: bluesolo patch
Dean Evo XM for bass: custom patch
GSP-21
Dean Exotica FM for acoustic lead
EZ Drummer
do I really need to define that?

Anyway, despite the mix, i thought it was a great jam. And frankly, considering how much stuff was going on in the mix, it was plenty good. I think the electric solo part coulda used a different patch in order to fit into the overall sound of the song.
But i really liked the acoustic solo part...I have the same Dean ac/el and I love the thing...
Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking this song is done but I guess I'll just put it on the back burner because I am not 100% happy with it and I'm sure as I get better at playing and composing I'll want to revisit it.
Point is, a song isn't \"done\" until David Geffen is returning your phone calls and Mutt Lange is beating your door down begging to engineer your next album while you soak in the hot tub with his wife (Shania).
So just set it aside, and one of these days it'll call out to ya like a Yodel to Rosie O'Donnell, and you'll be all up for re-doing stuff. Til then, just shelve it.
Unless of course, Geffen's been calling...
