Top of screen, there are musical note Icons. Pick GNX3 Music and patches button link. That will take you to the patches area.
You need either midi cables with a Midi soundcard or a Midi to USB adaptor for you PC. Most get the USB MIDI MAUDIO UNO.
Intsall the GNX3 Editor and software.
Download the patches. Save to Desktop etc.
Open the editor with the GNX3 connected.
Click on a patch or from the toolbar in GENEDIT >File OPen preset> navaigate to directory. Now the patch loads in GENEDIT for you to audition. You don't have to save it yet.
To Save- select DEVICE >save preset> scroll menu will pop up and select a patch to overwrite. That's it
I'm just down the QEW from you. You can't get these at the Source, you can get them at Long and McQuade in the keyboard section for about $50.00. That is the only place around our area that carrys them.
it sure is daunting!
i guess the place to start is to get the midi cables, the spdif and the software.
so, that leaves me with the software. i will take a look at the other forums posts but if you know what software i need and where to get it that would be great!
i am running windows vista ultimate with x -fi platinum

For GNX3, you need GenEdit software. I'm not sure how compatible it is with Vista.
