  • Good stuff ODB. The git'r leads added a lot over the first version, and I like the rythm git'r a lot too. And I really dig the voc/2...

PS I listened to \"wannabe\" while I was at your site...'nother killer tune! Wanna write some lyrics for me?!?
  • Danny, Very nice jam for sure. Has a nice dark tone to it. Good vocals and lyrics. Nice mix. Great preformance sound. Thanks for sharing.
  • Very nice ODB!! I dont think there was nothin bout this one I did not like 8) :D You have that way with bringing catchy little rythems & melody's 8) Sounds like your digging your new gear!! Keep em comming ODB!! your stuff is always a treat :D
  • Excellent as always ODB!! Nicely structured song, and great job by Greg on the bass too 8) . You and Greg need to move to Maryland  :lol:
  • Excellent man, love your vocals. I can hear some David Lee Roth in your voice aswell

I see you have ditched the GNX and the new RP for that little green monkey.

    Is it really that good?
  • Very polished tune ODB. The harmony machine sounds great.
    Rock on brother.
  • Sweet!

 Hey guys thanks for listening to our little toon about double dipping...

    Shredd
thanks for the LD comments. This song was original posted with some lead of mine wich ($uked) then with some LD parts our guitar buddy Paul F. soloing (a bit much) and now finally with his solo in the middle only this added a bit of sublety thats needed in this somewhat moody tune. Its still a work in progress as I knoe Paul wants to redo his part and Greg would like to remix afterwards with his new PT setup.
Partch I appreciate your kind review. thanks
Rampage thanks so much for the listen. ;)
insideout whats up buddy thanks for checkin out the tune! Greg did a excellent job on bass and keys too in this one. hopefully he will have time for a remix if his boss quits working him to death!!
SlashNBurn99 - Thanks for the DLR complement.I use the bad monkey for my rythm crunch now. If you have alot of clean tones dailed into your Amp or modeler with the addition of the bad monkey It can overdrive them and get a great crunch tone from each without loosing the tone of each individual amp model. The bad monkey is very transparent (it adds some mids) but overall its a smooth gain sound . if you use it in front of your GNX on high gain sounds (with the gain on 75% or so) you get really sweet harmonics kind of brown tone. On this tune the rythms are way in the back but I used it to darken the tone and of the rythm part.
thatsastrat Thanks for jammin the tune we appriciate your opinion as always.
bababoey you rewl thanks for noticeing the groove I think this will be a fun toon to play live. so you and insideout common down to NM and take over the guitar duties for me, I'll just sing! ;)
Gregory P- I HATE YOUR BOSS!!
  • Loved it ODB. A smooth jam kind of night club feel to it IMHO. I just loved the feel of this one.
  • Wow! Great tune…your David Lee Roth influence really comes through on this one…vocals sounded great along with some nice sounding harmony parts. Really liked the effects on the Guitar lead, sounded like it was played backwards? :):):)
  • kirkbauer1 - I appreciate you taking the time to comment thanks so much your sounds are awsome. I told Paul when I tracked his lead in the middle to \" think outside the usual box he would play this in and I gave a the guy a whole 30 min to do it in so he wants to spend some time with the part but I wanted first take kinda song you know so it sonds organic not some pasted together thing that has no soul and you canplay live...I know it sounds a bit unusual but we were tired of sounding ...usual. Somtimes diffrent is ...well it makes you notice a part that might just blend in otherwise. LOL! I know the vox were first take kinda rough but thats R&R
and polished is not kewl all the time thanks for listening I ramble!!

    WOGS858-
thanks for you kind comment. I wish more clubs would be open to promoting more original music than just Metal...ya I know its Metal is the coolest but Ive done that for years and really am into my blues these days. I may have a happy hr gig with Greg and Paul where I can call my own shots music wise so maybe this might make a club setlist after all this holiday season. :)

    SCGoatMan
    - thanks man.

 and Thanks to everyone mentioning the Davis lee Roth influance (that just floats my boat!!) ...and to everyone else ...thanks so much for NOT saying  Phil Collins :!: :lol::lol:
