First Recording!
Hi! I finally got a decent sound card and got it working properly!! Woo Hoo! (After weeks of trying with my old card!) So I was desperate to record something and join in with the forum.
Played through a GNX3 and Sonar. (And my new Ernie Ball Musicman Axis...Sheeeesh I love that guitar!!
)
This is complete, with all mistakes still intact! DOH! and not mixed very well...as I don't know what I'm doing yet...but hey! We all gotta start somewhere :? Would love your thoughts. Take care, speak later, Greg.

The DT site is pretty easy to figure out, just go (using the little round icon-links at the top of each page), sign up, and then you can log in and post your recordings and share your kewl patches too. Many are reluctant to actually download or stream stuff, 'cuz of the never-ending threat of online activity. :evil:
As far as your cherry-poppin' recording...PLENTY good! Especially for a first crack. You'll find as you keep doing stuff you'll develop an ear for mixing, what needs to go where, when you need less of something, etc. (then again, it never happens for some of us... :oops: )

And don't worry about 'tou. He's an odd bird, but perfectly safe if you keep your hands and feet away from his mouth.

I registered and everything worked fine, but when I hit upload music I got the please be patient window, but the window behind went blank, usual windows error message, but the file just wouldn't upload at all
Tried many times but nothing happened.
Will try again, sorry all about the third party upload site :oops: :oops:

Sounds good to me...much better than my first recordings :oops:
All instrument sounds were good and you don't try to play too much...thats important in ballad songs.I still remember that feeling when i got ready my first recordings...very exciting and fun!

I was just desperate to rercord something as I've been banging my head against my monitor for weeks trying to get my £$^&^& soundcard working! Ditched the lot and bought a new one!
Mind you now it's working, all my ideas seem to have run away!!
Think its \"stage fright\" :?
