CD
I have just released a cd of original material. Currently offered by cdbaby.com (Amazon and others soon). I'd upload some sound samples but I'm still on dialup and that's to slow for music xfers. Here's a link to cdbaby and you can listen to sound bites there. http://cdbaby.com/cd/jienexfore
I recorded the entire cd on a GNX4 and PTP for editing etc. It's a mixture of rock - surf rock - etc. The band is just me and it's called Jienexfore: GNX4.
Any and all feedback would be apreciated... and if anyone does pick one up, maybe you could do a review???
Enjoy...Don

thatsastrat: There is bass on all tracks... they may not appear to be present on the sound bites, but on a good stereo the bass lines do pop out. And there is no vocals for just one good reason... I don't carry a tune well enough to sing. And I'm more into guitar instrumentals than vocals, and there just isn't enough guitar stuff these days!!!!! (Almost no one plays a solo anymore). My next cd will have cover tunes and vocals if I can convince a friend to lend his vocals to the project.
And to ALL thanks for the good comments and input!!!
When recording this project, I discovered that you get better results if you record al the tracks in MONO on the GNX4 and after xfering to the computer use PTP to convert to stereo. When I first tried recording stereo tracks on the GNX4 and then goint to PTP the results were not pleasing... everything was just garbled... but going mono first then stereo made a world of difference.
Cheers all,
Don
