Hehehe... I talked to their A&R VP on the phone for about 30 minutes. Nice guy, great ideas, horrible execution. It'll cost you $600 to get on this compilation. It took a bit for me to explain to him that a lot of bands are not willing to PAY for the PRIVLEDGE of DONATING THEIR SONG to a cause... no matter how noble.
ColdSnap will not be participating... we have no problem donating limited rights to our music but we're not going to pay any amount for the privledge of doing so.[/u]
Besides... they said they liked Quiet Place.. and the email had another song name. They need to be more careful if they wanna keep that personalized. Looks like they hit every band in the state.[/u][/u]
First off let me say I think you are very talented musician and one of my favorties to listen to on this sight also I would not be surprised if you got a great deal from someone...but over the internet on myspace EVERYONE is subject to further scrutiny.
