Variations on MfM - Thanks 'wild!

Hey all...since I've been so despondant over Elizabeth getting married :cry: , I haven't been able to write...so I'm glomming other people's tunes. This one is a nice peice by ACWild that he wrote for MRS. 'wild. I really liked it, so I did sort of a 'variation' of it.

Recorded entirely on my GNX4: Jackson Performer, Dean ac/elec, onboard \"drums\", Ibanez bass, Roland Juno-60. Been lookin' for an excuse to use that trippy \"RIFMATIC' patch anyway...

It's shorter and features vastly inferior playing to the original (http://www.digitech.com/soundcomm/guitar_view_music.asp?productid=215&music_id=2493), but I really liked the mellow background melody and the very electric soloing together. Let me know what you think, and be gentle - I know I play like a mealy dog, and that's why Elizabeth married that gwat. Don't rub it in.

    Right on!!! I thought it'd be OK with you, bein' a player n' all, but if Mimi likes it, then I'm doing something right, I guess...maybe I can find a woman that likes me better than horses after all.

    Great Post Shredd!! I always loved this post by AC my favorite post from him!! I agree your tone sounded awsome on this you did a great job :D You also gave me an excuse to listen to AC's full version again 8)

    Thanks ODB...I don't think I'm sexy enough to play cowbell. :( The women would be able to tell i'm Posin'. I have to hack my way through with git'rs... :?

    thanks Partch, glad you liked it. Perhaps I'll be creating tunes again soon, when I get over losing Elizabeth :? . And I do like to sing, so I may do some more \"covers\" (\"Mangling The Classics\" series...). Stay tuned, and we'll be back after these important messages. :lol:
    And ain't 'wild's original version killer? I really liked it, it's on my MP3 player, and I never quite got it outta my skull. Plus I liked that it was for Mrs. Wild...very romantic. 8)

    Dam. I was diddlin' with the GNX today, and stumbled over a patch I'd made that woulda been MUCH better for this recording. Oh well...I guess that's why Sony and Geffen aren't returning my phone calls... :lol:

    MEANWHILE...today I had a lunch date with this adorable young woman I'm digging lately. A real fox. A 2nd date, the first one of those in quite a while! But I'm discouraged - it didn't go so well; she was sorta 'cool', and she backed out of plans we had for this weekend.
    Whattya think guys - should I be more of an @$$hole? Perhaps tell her she'll always be second to my git'r? Promise to beat her, lie to her, take her money and cheat with her friends??? :shock:

    Hey Shredd congrats on the dates 8) Never be someone your not. Be honest, open, confident & not pushy. Give things time, if it does not work out there is someone better for you. Always keep your faith up & be positive don't have attitudes like I will never find the right one for me :D Yes I know it's hard when your there!! I've been there. I prayed & waited for the right girl dating a few here & there for about 5 years. Now I'm glad I did not push & try & make something happen that was not for me I would have missed out on God's best for me which I now have :wink: Still prayin you find the right one for you Shredd & I do know how difficult it is to wait. Hang in there bud :D

    Thanks for the fatih partch...I also hope the \"right one\" comes along, sooner the better. Surely somewhere in the world there's a woman who'd like me the way I am, and I'd sure love to meet her. I try to be myself when dealing with everyone, including women, and women I'm interested in...yet it's very discouraging when you're disapproved of just for being yourself. I realize that not everyone is going to like you; and I realize that my personality ain't the easiest to take for some people :shock: but having patience is pretty hard...I don't have the faith you do!!!
