Well...thanks a LOT guys. Wasn't anyone going to break it to me that Elizabeth Hurley got married this weekend? I had to read it in the PAPER!!! And the guy isn't even as good looking as me, though he's surely MUCH wealthier. :?
This is a tragedy of epic proportions. My reason to live and the basis of all my hopes in life is gone.

If you see me on a street corner with my GNX all dusty and muddy and I'm playing 70's hits for spare change, I'd appreciate you strangling me.

Yeah, just saw it tonite. I guess I gotta remind you guys that I live in the stix - even compared to 'dob - so internet access can be pretty intermittent. Thanks bud...I guess the shock was too much for me to bear. Not being a zillionaire, being single in the middle of nowhere, and being a not-quite-in-Lifeson's-league git'rist is enough to take, but to think of some gweeb like that nailing my dream girl is enough to make a man drink heavily and play ballads at the Holiday Inn. :shock:
Perhaps I can wrangle a tune or two out of this, before I get over it. That gives me about ten years.

At the moment, I'm having fun butchering up a remix/variation on a tune one of you guys posted, but it isn't easing the pain. Oh Elizabeth, how could you??

Sorry to hear about your loss, Shredd. Hope you don't bottom out, man. I grew up in the 70's and don't remember too many good songs from that decade. If I see you on the street corner with your GNX4 all dusty and muddy and you are playing 70's hits for spare change, I take you home for a good meal and shower, before I got you committed to rehab for your own good. That would probably be rock bottom for you, my friend. Keep a stiff upper lip and soldier on, Shredd. Tomorrow is another day. Best wishes.
