General Rules of a Tube Amp

Hey, im getting the b-52 at-100 tube amp which will be my first tube amp!

and i just want to know what some general rules of thumb are for tube amps.

for instance, the whole putting it in stand by and turning it on and off, and what not

    Gratz on the amp!!!

    To power on:

    Turn on GNX > amp power > wait 30-60 seconds for warm up > standby on

    To power off:

    Standby off > wait 10-15 seconds > amp power off > GNX off

    Don't ever turn the GNX on or off when the amp power and standby are on.

    Also, make sure all volume output levels are at the lowest point on GNX and amp before you turn on anything! Then gradually adjust to your preference.
    You don't want to blow out anything! Especially the windows! :lol:
