My Girl's Mad at Me

First and foremost I'm a METAL HEAD. I thought I would try my hand at some blues and jazzy type stuff I've been trying to learn the last couple of days. I borrowed some stuff from a live Stones album from '68 and some licks I learned over the last few days from links the guys on the board here gave me. Please excuse my sloppiness. There's a couple pops near the end, don't know how that happened but if I don't do it in like one ot two takes I won't do it again.

My girlfriend has been pissed off at me for like 3 days now and it really influenced my playing on this tune hence the name \"My Girl's Mad at Me\".

Blues and jazz guys don't be to hard on me, I'm a metal head.

Thanks for the heads up on the long download shredd. I forgot to make it 16 and used the default 32 on accident. All fixed.

Yes it was from Get Yer Ya Ya's Out. some kid down the street gave me the album when I was like 12 or 13. I love mick taylors and keith's playing on that album.

Wow! I have been away for awhile trying to learn some new stuff also and I am glad I did not miss this one…This sounded great…Loved the phrasing and chord structure to this…I liked the separation with the leads also…very enjoyable, thanks.

Metal Head, my rear end.......you don't get that good at blues playing without being a blues player. Great stuff, loved the mix, the drums, the bass, perfect. What did you use for the bass parts?

Thanks for all the kind words!!! I used a GNX3 bass patch with an 82 lespaul custom for the bass lines
