So I took my GNX-3 to church Sunday
I have had it since Christmas, but I wanted to make sure I was familar enough with the unit not to make a fool of myself. So Sunday was the breakout day.
I have not cutomized anything yet and used the Mean/Clean patch (#10?) and the clean chours (#2). My connections were Guitar to GNX-3, GNX-3 to the FX/PA in on the Amp and Line out from the amp to the sound system. (Mono). Guitar is a MIM Telecaster.
Previously I have used a DigiTech RP-200, Zoom 505, and a POD 2.0, but the GNX-3 really is by far the best sounding unit I have used.
After the service was over a couple people told me I really sounded good, I never play anything fancy, just some turn around licks and maybe some melody behind the singers and share an occasional break with the keyboard, but generaly I try not to draw attention by playing something stupid. The Worship leader came over and looked real close at the GNX-3, for a few minutes and then allowed it was pretty cool.
All-in-all it went well, I think the GNX-3 really added a lot to the mix and I was very pleased. Next week I may run the GNX-3 directly to the system and use my amp as a monitor. Fun time has begun.

I am a firm believer in keeping everything simple as possible and keeping old Mr. Murphy away from my set up. The fact that I even bought a GNX-3 is amazing.
