Back after a long break from these great boards.

Hey guys,
I dont know if anyone noticed, but i have dropped out of sight from these boards for a little while this past month. After Being in the \"daily poster club\" i thought this would've been noticed, but that doesnt bother me :lol:

I have noticed the increase in spam, but as any forum grows this is an increased problem.

The reason i havent been here? Well, i had my exam(s) and family comittments. I went well in the exam (HSC) i did accelerated maths (did it a year ahead) and received a mark of 91.


I hope you all had a great Christmas and have a productive shreddin new year. Thanks to Rock Discipline i will 8) 8)

PS for those who want more celebrations, dont forget Chinese new year - 18th Feb!! Oh and by the way i am not chinese, i just love the chinese celebrations of new year.

    BTW just to make you jealous :P i saw maiden back in December, it was awesome and i also saw Trivium as they were support.

    AMOLAD is one of thier best albums and it was great to see it in its entirety, now i want to go see them this summer when they play
    \\M/ DONINGTON \\M/ . Bruce said they will be playing the classics they didn't get time to play that night in manchester and the rest of the tour.

    I don't know why they don't plau Australia???

    Welcome back 'hoot! I've gone missing for weeks at a time too, but not 'cuz of school and such things - it's because of lack of internet access. Can you believe it, in this modern world? Anyway, I'm back for the time being at least, and it's good to see you drop in.
    And by the way, have you fedex'd me my hott Aussie bikini babe yet??? :lol:

    Maiden may have played once in Australia, but no more. I dont know why either, as there are more than enough fans to have a very large concert. I'll have to check out the new trivium album too!

    Shredd - yes i can understand the lack of internet access, when this world is run by giant corporations, the consumer is not treated as a traditional customer.

    Well its summer here, so finding a babe shouldnt be too hard, its just the customs dont like live cargo!!

    Don't feel bad. That RUSH in Rio show was their first date in South America in their career...they interviewed people who'd waited nearly 30 years to see them live! :shock:
    Anyway...it is a bite about the difficulty in inet access...I happen to live in a spot where the only thing available is the overtheair wireless thing, and it won't reach my house cuz of trees. So I only get on the web via local coffee shops, which I really can't afford to hang out in 'cuz I spend all my money satisfying my G/A/S and long-distance phone calls to my dream women. Who never call me back. :?
    I guess I can understand the difficulty in sneaking a hott babe into a FedEx package...tell ya what. If you bring me one, I'll buy your plane tickets, your ski tickets while you're here, and give you a flash drive with all my RUSH patches for the GNX. :D

    Good to hear from you again Hootman. Although I try to keep up to date on the forums, I myself have been back in school full time and studying now takes priority over both guitar practice and reading the forums. I expect many are in similiar situations with family/school/job commitments. But I'm glad you're back as I have enjoyed your posts. Take care.

    TOTally. I find it very hard to keep up with the forums and git'r playing, since I spend most of my time picking splinters outta my butt from sitting around pining for Elizabeth. :lol:
    Really, though, good to have you back 'hoot. And gtaus - check in once in a while. You're about the smartest guy here. And you can play git'r too...does your wife appreciate you for all that?!? :shock:

    My wife is very supportive of my guitar playing. She lets me go out and play whenever I want. Whenever I go out and play guitar with the boys, she goes out shopping. No problem for her... :cry:

    My wife and I have been married so long (over 18 years) that we more or less have our own seperate spending money allowances. So her shopping, usually, has no effect on my GAS. But thanks for your concern. It's nice to know that others care. That's what is great about this community.

    I have a dream...G/A/S can be cured in our lifetime, if only we could all have PRS's, vintage 355's, Marshalls, Mesa Boogies, 24-trk recording studios, and Mackie boards.
