Are 43 Amp models too few ?

Too many ?

Are the Amp models distinctly different from each other ? or are Amp Models of a particular family too close to each other ?

Which are your favorite factory Amp Models ?

I have found that most of the factory presets are good starting points. Lately, I have been using the \"Ok Go\" patch found on the guitar world site with the screamer activated...Awesome tone and it it cuts thorugh the mix like a knife.

But if you were making a patch from scratch, or taking a factory preset that has the effect you want but not the basic tone... out of how many amp models do you choose?

I'd say about 4 maybe 5.
