Digitech and Winter NAMM 2007
Anybody else disappointed in the lack of significant announcements by Digitech at this year's winter NAMM convention. I know that they launched a new rack unit. However, I was really hoping that they would show at least 1 new floor workstation using the Audio DNA2 technology. I'm guessing it's now a year before we'll see the new stuff in the stores :-(

The new AudioDNA-2 chorus stompbox seems cool though.
A vocal harmonizer that follows the chords that we play on guitar!!! There are some great keyboards out there that have allowed this, but never for guitarist.
I know that it is not specifically a guitar product, but it's the next box I'm getting!!!
I'm doing a one man gig type of deal, and using the GNX4 as my guitar processor, mp3 player for a few backing tracks, my mini mixer, and now with the addition of this harmonizor I'll be set.
Couldn't be happier. This was WAY more exciting to me than a new GNX line coming out.
Now would I would LOVE to see is this thing built into the next GNX, but other than that, I'll be happy with these two units, and my additional foot controller for my looping.
*BTW: I am now a 3 time owner of the GNX4. And am constantly changing my live setup (bands, one man bands, etc), and right now I am back to the one man band, coffee house & college scene, and the GNX4 is just a killer unit for this type of work, and then add the new Live 4, and I have never been happier!!!
But just one mans way of looking at NAMM. Still looking forward to the next gneration of GNX product.

Heck ya sounds like a killa product I wonder if the pedal has the same effects as the vx400 i use that now I want some compression and maybe a little doubler and delay. hmmmm
Also I got a rp 250 this year the new chip set rocks for us guys who just got over to the new processor from the gnx3s.
And as you mentioned, the LIVE 4 does seem to have an additional foot switch option on the back, but none of the info that has come out yet address exaclty what can be done with that. So we'll just have to wait a little while to hear a bit more. BUT lookin' forward to that.
And for those interested, the MAP is supposed to be around $399. I wish it was lower, say $299 to $349, or even $399 with the additional footswitch, but looks like I will just HAVE to have one as soon as they come out (they are looking at around April for the 4...the only one I would really consider).
BTW: Due to the fact that the 4 also has built in effect for a guitar, a basic built in mixer, and 2 XLR outs, this would make for a killer stand alone unit/DIRECT box for just about any singer song writer SOLO style performance. Just bring this little baby and your acoustic and you're set at most places.
I'll most likely bring more than that, but wouldn't really have to.
So I have a Nady TMP-3 I will use for vocals sell my VX400 while product is still current and use the proceeds to buy the new one. TADA ...
now how do I spend more money on gear WITHOUT the wife killing me in the process...hmmm  Ill have to work on that one
Anyone?
Not necessarily. The guitar processing on it is limited to effects, and there is a thru jack to plug into a GNX or something. You can just have your guitarist plug into your Live 2 (or 4) and have it harmonize.
I'd like to hear how well these things work...
I wonder if it will have enough effects on it to replace a VX400:?:
Now, has anyone seen any VIDEO demos of this, and here what the foot switch option will allow...ok, I know, just thought I would ask again.
