no eq'ing or anything else. I really liked the guitar tone that came out.
If I could just figure out how to make the vocals sound good I would be all set
jamstix played the drums on it, I changed a few fill here and there and a kick or two, but mostly it is the output from jamstix... then bounced each individual drum/ cymbal to it's own track and eq' and panned from there.
Very good Mike. I could not seem to get Jamstix to work real well for me? I know I only had the demo & did not spend to much time but it just seemed to do kind of it's own thing? It's almost Like I had to play with it for things to sound right & tight On time etc.. than me doing my pre determined Rythem or jam & it play with me on time etc.. Hey glad it works for you Mike 8)
Your voice is really good!!!! And it sounds cool.
What did you use to record the song? The overall recording sounds really good and would like to get mine to sound that good.
Any tips tricks and techniques to get a nice recording like that would be highly appreciated.
appreciate the feedback... I recorded it direct into sonar 6. the solo is on the bridge pickup, but the rest were on the humbucker. Mixed it all down, then put it into sound forge and used ozone to master it. That was really about it... the keyboard parts were an afterthought, found some free synth pads and thought I would see how they sounded.... just tried to keep everything clean and tried to keep the playing tight... hope that helps some....
