OK, so they're hot too. But I really do like the way they play. Very tasteful and fluid. Where's Shredd?

Nori Bucci
I understand why Gibson makes the Vixen line now.
I notice some of the other members here have family to share music with. That is so awesome!
I always liked female guitarists better, because I could lust, instead of envy. I just enjoy that more.
There really is a huge list of female guitarists to admire.
The obvious ones are
Nancy Wilson
Jennifer Batten
Bonnie Raitt
Teresa Russell
Badi Assad
Kaki King
Patty Larkin
Jewel
Sheryl Crow
and an old great, Elizabeth Cotten.......just for starters.
Carina Alfie is a new to me. I was checking out her photo section, and she obviously is well known. Surprizing how you don't hear so much about the females.
One nice thing about TV's reality show \"Rock Star\"...is you do get to see some great female musicians. This Nashville one starting up soon will have my attendtion too...at least for awhile. :P
Are you really Shredd? What have you done to Manitou?
okay....I'm not Manitou. He's on vacation over in Toronto, and sent this nice photo of the CN Tower.
....yer not really Cobaltblooz are you?
He said you'd try to get him/me in trouble with the Mad Russian dude. :?
I'm trying to keep things conservative....but maybe Cotten and Crow was going too far.
Ha ha, I'm not talented enough to be Cobalt.
It's easy to throw Ilia (with one \"L\") off your track... Just start talking about the harmonic equation based on orbital sine waves that occur during gaseous eruptions from Uranus.
See...I think I misunderstood your thread. \"My two favorite female guitarists.\"
I was thinking ...and that was my mistake.
I don't know how they play with those long fingernails...
but there I go again...thinking. :?
Atleast...I'm no longer bored. 8)

That's Rock Goddess in the flesh.
As far as pure shred goes, Manitou hit it with Nori Bucci recently of Gamalon. Not even many guys can match her articulation. And she's very tasty. Though I wouldn't know that first hand unfortunately...
I don't know if Jenna can strum but I hear she has good fingering skills...
These girls are like a female ACDC, and all there songs have guitar solos
A chick with a Les Paul, now i've seen it all

Whoa great tone! That sound is awesome even on the youtube...
on London's AbbeyLane with his Band.
Rolling Stoned made a feature article on his new song.
In the interview he talks about his new hit single.
I particularly enjoyed the \"Music Career Tips\"
article on \"Taking your Air Guitar On The Road.\"
Also, nice story about Elvis.
He's turning 80 this month, and says
he enjoyed his nights of Karaoke down
at the Edinburgh Hogmanny Festival.
This is too easy. Nancy Wilson. After her, everyone comes in second.
Although I'd bang Lita Ford if she asked me...
And I'd GLADLY visit those towers - er, tower - in Toronto!!!
It is good to see more women guitarists.
Also back in the late 80's I saw Leon Redbone with a women who was the 2nd best Dobro player I ever heard,Mike Auldridge being my #1 dobro player. I wish I knew her name because she smoked thet Dobro.
I started to tell how my Ex played and sounded a lot like Joni Mitchell, and deleted it. Joni was extrodinary, and one of my favorites of the time.
My Ex was as close to her sound as I heard, and she would really get a place rockin'. Had something to do with me giving up guitar back then. She was so much better than me...and I couldn't handle that. I'm sure she is still better, but at least I no longer care.
Back then my favorite Female guitarist was Nancy Wilson, and to this day I listen to Heart all the time. They are one of my favorite Bands ever.
I also liked Joan Jett....she was Hawt.
I heard her in Concert couple years ago. I didn't go in
to watch the show...but she still Rock the place.
Speaking of over the top sex pots...I remeber a band from the early 80s called Oral Sex and one of there songs was Head. No gimmick there. yeah right. It was a trio of hot women from CA I believe and terribly recorded.
As an old angler myself I somtimes forget myself.
I will refrain in future posts from opening such a can of worms or even rising to the bait.
Seriously I do apologize.
I'm still around, largely 'cuz the boss' Mrs would rather condescend to and ignore me than go to the trouble of killing me, and have deal with the bother of disposing of my carcass. :?
I'm also still have very limited internet access, lots of trouble keeping up with people's music submissions, and still not getting lei'd.
As far as Joan jett goes...you shoulda given her my #. I don't owe her money (I paid her already - REALLY!!!), but more importantly, I can offer her a much better job!
Not that I'm jealous or resentful, (no really!) but she was in one of those big posters on the front of guitar center right between Vinnie Paul and Slash. And if someone can prove to me it has more to do with her guitar playing than her looks then I'll eat my words :!:
But she is pretty damn hot
