The Unforgiven
Back after a long time (not that many probably remember me though
) this time with a Metallica cover.
Vocals are two tracks with different settings to give a sort of spooky effect, not the best singing but I'm trying to improve.
The solo is one of my all time favorites, I just love to play it.

partch here I uploaded it to the sound community:

As stated above the rhytm guitar was a combination of several tracks with different settings so I don't have a patch for that. I have the lead (distorted) guitar patch and I can upload it if you want.
For getting a nice rhytm tone I would suggest making 2 or 3 different patches that can be used together. Have one that is bassier and has the 'rectifier' warped into it (with a clean amp), another with 'high gain' warped with clean and possible a third clean one with 'blackface' or 'clean tube'.
Pan them all differently and it should start to sound pretty good.
The key is to not have too much gain as it makes it muddy as opposed to crunchy.
Hope that is of some help.
