  • I got an Epiphone Les Paul Custom which really plays nice. It is more guitar than I deserve, or can play, but I sure enjoy it.
  • I got a \"Mouse\" sander with all the attachments. It enabled me to scallop my strat neck. :D:D:D

I am thrilled with the results.
  • MK Hybrid ( early C- present from my wife!)

Wacom Intous- now I have to figure it out, but hopefully should help in diagrams for installs.
  • I got a Dimarzio D-sonic,Evo2 and a PAF PRO
New coffee maker (completely guitar related for those late night wirings)

then bought with my Dec. Sales comissions an Ibanez GRG170DXBKN to put my satch set in
  • Santa showed with a Mesa Nomad 55 410 strapped to his back. I had a hard time talking him into letting it go. Best xmas present I've ever had. Merry Christmas peeps.

  • Well I opened my present and found a GNX-3. I'm still just going through the presets with my daughter's left handed guitar. Even the factory presets are fun to noodle with. Even getting used to playing backwards and upside down.

I have it set for stereo guitar and am running the output to my two combo amp's fx return. One Peavey Classic NT series and a Fender Champ 25 SE, and then using the GNX output for volume.

I took it to \"jam\" session on the December 29 and ran the GNX directly to my buddy's mixer, with his Squire Strat. I found the GNX really shines when ran directly to the mixer. I've got some pictures on my digital camera to share when I figure out how to load them.
  • Hey Wickerman congrats on the 1570, I love mine... I recomend 10's on it though.. I pefer 9's myself but tend to break a ton of 9's on it... you will love the guitar as long as you don't have the need to play 3 hours straight otherwise you might thing your hand will fall off!

    take care,
    chris
  • I got absolutely nothing guitar related whatsoever  except for a Satriani live dvd :)

I have, however achieved some goals since i last posted (after going through \"Rock Discpline\")

    16th notes MAX @ 240bpm
    16ths clean limit @ 220 bpm
    16 triplets MAX @ 130 bpm
    16th triplets clean limit @ 120 bpm

so to me thats a good enough pressie, i have discovered gear dont make you play any better!!

    cool, i may consider 10's.

would changing from 9's to 10's mean i would just have to setup the trem or more?

My experience with my RG470 was Trem Adjustments only were needed. You will probably have to change the configuration of your springs or add one? I would personnally do what Ibanez recommends & that's changing the Springs Configuration at least for my RG470 it was? Intonation & everything was still spot on so no real big deal :D
