Aberraeshun - Eternal Love

Hey all,
First time poster :wink: .
I've started a band \"Aberraeshun\" and so far I have me on vocal, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass and programming MIDI drums as I have no drum kit. LOL, actually that isn't much of a band. More like a one man show. But I'm trying to get a band together there just aren't any players in my area. Anyway, I've written four songs and I'm trying to put together a demo CD. After listening to many of the songs listed on here I thought I'd post some of mine and see what you guys thought. I'm mostly into metal/rock/blues type music. With this song I tried to slow down and do a more mellow type song. I don't have it quite finished and the mix I'm sure is horrible but maybe you guys can get the general idea of what I was shooting for. Lead is really what I envision doing in my band but I'll probably end up playing lead and vocals even though I can't really sing. With a little luck maybe I can find rhythm, bass and drum players. LOL a vocalist would be nice too but I'm not going to push my luck :wink: .

    Welcome Jamie 8) Man that was a great song!! You were feeling that one for sure & that makes all the difference in the world. Just excellent dynamics!! Not bad Vocals at all either 8) what did you use for your midi drums? they sounded good as well. You certainly seem to have a handle on songwritting :D Again excellent job I'll be looking forward to some more of your stuff!! I think you will get your band togethor I mean you already have a great start :wink:

    I agree with Partch, that sounded real good and I liked the vocals aswell.

    Thanks so much for the replies guys.
    Not bad Vocals at all either what did you use for your midi drums? they sounded good as well.
    I'm creating the drum tracks with Pro Tracks Plus based on the loops that actually come with the GNX4. I just edit/change them to suit my needs. Once I have a complete drum track for my song I just record it with Pro Tracks Plus.

    I liked what you have going on here. I will make a suggestion though. Try to relax your voice or lower the key your in as your voice sounded stressed, not bad, but just strained. This is not ment to hurt but to help. I really did like what you are doing.

    Thanks for the reply thatsastrat. Yeah, I know exactly what your talking about. The sound I have in the key of E is somewhat strained. That is however the sound I was shooting for. Eternal Love is more or less a \"love\" song but being a metal/rock head like I am, I wanted the vocals almost screamed in parts LOL :lol: . A good singer would no doubt do it very different from me too. Thanks again.

    Dude, when you get your band together, do lead guitars and vocals. You're good at both and it's tough getting good singers.

    LOL, :wink: thanks Meathook. I wish finding people to play with was as simple around here :cry: . But, the search goes on.
