Legendary singer James Brown dies at 73
\"If Brown's claim to the invention of soul can be challenged by fans of Ray Charles and Sam Cooke, then his rights to the genres of rap, disco and funk are beyond question. He was to rhythm and dance music what Dylan was to lyrics: the unchallenged popular innovator. \"
Another one of the great inovators, gone. A crazy life but man what influence on modern music.
Happy holidays to all and keep the funk in christmas

In 1971 he was preforming in Columbus Ga. I wanted to go but was told that it was open season for rabbits and that it would be a near death experience to go. No mistakeing his sound. He was and will continue to be an influceance on my music. Thank you James Brown.
