Hey guys, I put one of my babies up on ebay. Don't know how some of you have multiple guitars. Some of the pic's on the \"Guitars, let's see them\" thread, players have 10 or 20 or more. I'm in no position to collect.

Any way If you had no guitars, then had enough money to buy a less expensive reliable to beat on, what would it be. What does everyone think about for under 200 bucks, one of those Fenders or Ernie Ball OLP's at Guitar Center for under 200 bucks?

That's real nice. I've never had a Steinberger - thought about it from time to time, but never bit.

For $200, I'd tried to find a used MIM strat. I recently bought a MIM J-Bass, for, I think, $215. There was huge difference in playability between the Squiers and the Fenders. When I found an actual Fender, albeit a MIM Fender for under $250, boom , that was it, we had the bass we wanted.

Some of the $200 Epiphones are pretty nice.

I've been braggin' up my Jackson DK2.

These retail for $700 in the eerie dess swirl paint job.

They are cheaper in the other finishes.
It is one very nice guitar for cheap.

An Ibanez RG you could get reasonable. Play & sound great 8) Hold up well I have an RG470 I'm keeping for the kids just in case they decide they want to play to learn on. I got it on Ebay new with a slight chip on the back for like 300 dollars it's also a 6 7 hundred dollar guitar but plays awsome!!

OLP Petrucci model is an excellent guitar. MF is liquidated the black ones for $149, with case and all... check it out. One the better guitars to find in that price range.

If you don't like the tuning machines ( I didn't) , you can put schaller mini lockers on there for about $50.. so , for about 2 bills you really have a nice guitar!

Ah, Thanks G3456, MF! (Musicians Friend) theres a \"B stock\" warehouse here in my area and they've got all the name brands for cheap and I can avoid shipping. I mean, one of the wings might be busted off or neck pickup or knobs missing but if they sound good and feel good, WTF! (All i need is two strings to keep my reflexes up - some say remove strings to learn other things)

Also, heads up. I've got more stuff on ebay if you guys wanna take a look. Not trying to advertise here, but you guys might appreciate the items more than others.

Got a \"Daddys Funky\" floor special a while back that's pleasing to play. Peavey Predator EXP Plus, $129 and they threw in a bag. A few careful hours setting it up, and I locked the FR tremolo ( I like the fine tuners better than keys). Sounds great with the GNX4 (what wouldn't ?) and serves it's purpose for now.

r u serious about the quality of the petrucci OLP? did u leave the stock pups in there?
