Where is Shredd???
It's been 10 days since we heard from Shredd. He sent me a song to work up lyrics to, and I sent it back to him, but I haven't heard from him since, and he hasn't posted to any of the forums. I am beginning to get concerned about him, but I am probably just being weird.

Maybe he found that girl he is always talking about. I had a dog who ran away from home. He came back about 2 weeks later, took a drink of water, and slept for about 2 days. Tired, but happy, if you know what I mean. Maybe Shredd picked up on a scent and is off exploring. At least it's a good story to start, and probably one that he would approve of.

Thanks to all who have had concern as to my whereabouts and well being. The short version is that I'm alive and reasonably well...just haven't been around much due to job pressures and lack of internet access.
By the way, THANKS 'flood for the lyrics...I did get them, I've been trying to find time to tweak them for meter/rythm to fit the tune and the way i wanna sing it...and also tweaking for a positive feel, since I started the tune very gloomy and have since made changes to make it more up-beat...
'taus - great story! I'd love to be able to say Cameron Diaz called me up and invited me over for a romp-a-thon, after which I surely would've slept a lot to recover my strength. Like you said, I'd be tired, but happy...unless Elizabeth called me up the next day - I'd surely find the strength to follow THAT scent!!!
The good news is that my boss's wife hasn't put me to sleep yet...in fact, the atmosphere has improved dramatically lately. I got a MEGA Christmas bonus. I think they musta talked about it between themselves, or perhaps with someone else, and decided that I might just be more important to them than they'd been thinking, and are once again satisfied that my efforts are worthy of retaining. Hm. I still think the wife should walk around the house, so i can tell she is SUPER hott.
And, for all wondering: NO, I'm still not writing much original stuff & am still messing with covers. NO, I still can't play worth a dam, and haven't improved on my Roland. And NO, Elizabeth Hurley hasn't returned my phone calls, NO, I haven't met the girl of my dreams (here or anywhere), and NO, I still haven't gotten lei'd. Seems like forever. :evil: :evil:

I didn't win the Jackson DK2 on ebay...I wasn't going to bid very high 'cuz it's a bolt-on and I'd like one of the ones with neck thru...(SL2?). But I just love the eerie-dess finish...
Anyway, I currently play a late 90's Jackson Performer...pretty nice ax for a mid-range git'r. Has a lisc'd FR, SSH, 24 frets...I've put Ibanez V1 sc's in the SS holes, and it sounds pretty good (you've heard it on most of my postings).
And no, I'm not working for Enzyte. I need enzyte like G3456 needs more amps. To paraphrase Eddie Murphy in \"48 Hours\": I haven't been lei'd in so long my thang gets hard when the wind blows\". :evil:
BTW 'tou your pictures are so insanely funny. Give up git'r and go work for someone making commercials - or maybe team up with Gary Larsen...
