  • Looks pretty darn cool 8) But Imean if you already have a GNX4 you have the interface usb recording, effects from the GNX & software PTP to do your recording? I guese if you just want to plug directly into the computor something like this would be ideal :D

    God Bless!!

Mac users have an even more \"perfect for taking on the road with the laptop\" adapter. http://www.welovemacs.com/jamplug.html

Why wouldn't it work for Windows based?

OK you got me there, on the laptop/ roadtrip thing. But thought it came with Amplitube. Sampletank is something different, is'nt it? :?
  • It comes with Amplitube, Sample Tank, Tracktion, and the EQ from T Racks. Tracktion is a decent recording program - I got a copy with my Echo interface. I still prefer Sonar. But, if I were choosing between Tracktion and PTP, I think I'd go with Tracktion.

And, of course, its the Amplitube Live, which, as I recall is the stripped down version of Amplitube, and the Sample Tanks is the LE version.

I think its designed more for someone loooking for their first experience with computer based effects and recording, and for that type of experience, it looks to be worth the price. For those of us here with our GNX rigs, especially those of us with the GNX4, it just a way to add to the GAS.
  • Well if it comes with all that software, then it is worth the $99. I only seen Amplitube offered in the ad. :?
  • Yeah, the first post in this thread has a link that shows all the software.

    From that page:

Just posting for info purposes - not an endorsement.
  • Smegolas got me thinking about the roadtrip side of it,so I'm checking into it. But it's not in Canada yet, so I went to IK Multimedia website and it show's a price of $129USD :? Not that thats a problem, still a good value IMHO, just wanna get the best price
  • I use all that stuff in protools. I actually used the Amplitube on my voice in a recent tune...very cool stuff ...never used sample tank...is that for midi controlers and midi keyboards :?:

Tracks is the coolest EQ I have everer used.
