New rp's

How are these new rp's gonna sound in relation to the GNX's.

They are cheaper, but they use newer chips so won't they sound better?

Had a listen - dont have any real sound advantages over the gnx4 as yet that i can detect.

I am recording all the time with my rp250 and i use it so much more than my gnx3000. it has everthing i need. I really like the tones. Some of my forumites on other boards would like to hear me get a tube amp and ditch all the gadgets but they are just tube snobs.

Here is a cover i did all guitars are rp250, my buddy sang on this one, it shows off the Whammy on the RP250

to my ears the rp250 does not sound too different to the GNX3000

Thanks for the update. You must have decided the RP250 did the job versus the RP350.

That's what it sounds like (nice playing, too!) I didn't figure it would, but I'll definitely try the 350 once it's in stores.

yes i tried the 250 and wanted it bad, plus did not wanna wait for the 350, i am still very happy with the 250

What can you say about the stomp models on the RP250? Do they come close?

Yes I keeop meaning to spend time and investigate the stomp models ..I will this weekend and make some soundclips ok...

I usually hook it up to my PC and start recording I find the presets to be so damn good I actually do not tweak it much

I will get back to y'all on the sounds

I have had the RP250 around a month and use it one every recording, plus I have had lots of positive feedback on my tone guys think i have a monster collection of amps at home
