Just a little Jam for my Daughter (she's 2) on my used 50 dollar Tele
Me and Greg jammed live all to one trac on Sunday. I added some more guitars and vocals the next day. It was a quick fun way to capture a little practise jam. 8)

  • Dude, you keep cranking out hits. 8) I can hear Steely Dan in your tunes, but to be honest, I was never really into them. On the other hand, I can listen to your songs all day. Thanks for sharing. :D
  • SWEEEEEEEET ODB!! I loved the Vocals!! If I could sing half that good. I love to sing!! I'm just not that good :( great job though I always enjoy your songs 8)

    God Bless ODB!!

  • 0DB...
    Yeah Man.. 8)
So freakn' cool.. and that $50 Tele sounds SWEEEEEEET...
Great playin', vocals, and mix as usual..
    Thanks buddy..

    See Ya,
    Tal.. 8)
  • Thanks for the listen guys . That was just a quicky little jam that turned out to be alotta fun Like I said all the rythm tracs bass and drums were jammed live so limited mixing capablitys just go for it -make it up on the fly -and call it good...I love pretending to be a LD guitarist

ACWiLd- great to here from you man. I love Steeley Dan but must admit I listened to much more Thin Lizzy and Pat Travers in those days then I did all this Mellower stuff I seem to have the time for now.

Partch- All singing takes is practise and that 'not bein good enough' part has no place in your music...Bob Dillian can sing? Tom Petty has a great voice? ...but they sure do got style and vision so can you ...you'll find your own comfort place with your voice soon enough just keep singin.
however  ...in my case ..the worst guitarist  always gets stuck singing...

Tal Rules- Thanks alot for the Tele inspiration I really think for songwriting a Tele is more useful to me than a Strat  who woulda thunk it huh?
  • Nice Jam. A $50 Tele? Any left? I couldn't find one in pieces for $50.
    Nice score.
  • That was great, loved the playin and your voice is stellar 8)
  • I hear Steeley Dan as well...except it's better than Steely Dan...it has more garlic or something :D
  • Another keeper ODB, little shorter than your others, but still a keeper. 8)
  • Great tune, great name. Seemed to have a shade of Little River Band or something. Thanks for posting that.
  • thatsastrat- thanks for the listen. Ya 50 bucks its a knock off SX brand but is pretty much brand new with some kinda kool aftermarket pups...it was setup pretty good too...so heck I always wanted a real Tele...this one will have to do for now. ;)

SlashNBurn99- I appreciate you taking the time to listen. I enjoy your music as well.

Cobaltblooz- well bring on the garlic then...Just dont get that close to me when your singing backup cause my breathe might not be too fresh
Thanks for checkin out the jam.

P.G. Shadow - ya this tune is a short sketch really...very quickly done. thanks for takeing the time to check it out.

Tyrant- LRB...didn't they sing that tune \"time for a cool change\" or somthin like that. I used to dig there harmonies. Thanks for the review.
  • <div style="displaynone">fiogf49gjkf0d</div>Man, you do not give yourself enough credit for lead guitar! I would have been proud if I laid down those tracks!!

    NICE

  • Some really nice stuff there ODB - I bet your daughter was happy!! You've put it all together really nice. Actually, I'm really impressed with all of the tracks on this review - great to hear what other people are doing - congrats to everyone!

Man a $50 dollar Tele?! I don't think I would get a better sound out of my Leo Fender G&L Asat Classic!! Why go for a 'real Tele' when you can get a sound like that?? What brand do ya reckon those aftermarket pickups are in it?

    BBoo.
  • Oh yeah ODB, some of their more notable tunes are Cool Change, Take it easy on me, Lonsome Loser and It's a long way there. I forgot I had their greatest hits cd. I don't know, it must have been a chord change that reminded me of those guys. It was a random thought for sure. Anyhow, nice tune.
  • Wow! Great harmony and some tasty sounding leads…your production skills are very impressive especially on the vocals…you have a great voice and your talent really shows on this one…are you doing both harmony parts? I was always stuck doing the background harmonies and it was usually far in the back. :):):)
  • It's like I keep saying. You are WASTING your time having a real job. You should really be making albums. Or producing. Or whatever. AWEsome stuff. And your girl will be so proud to have her own song!
  • kirkbauer1-Thanks for the listen and the complement- Yea all the vocals are me. Just a lead Melody and 1 harmony, pretty simple really.

shredd- Hey thanks for checkin it out. I wish I could quit my day job..don't we all  :P
