  • Truly a loss. I still can't believe it. He's taught me a lot about recording and had a great sense of humor.
  • It is sad news indeed. Mike was a character and a good man. I'll miss him.

    RIP MY BROTHER!
  •  This is truly a sad loss, the man had great musical talent. Not just playing guitar, but in the studio. Sure he was a bit of a fire cracker, I think thats why I liked reading his posts.

Though I hardly knew him, I still considered him a decent guy. He helped me get my computer sofware up & running, back in the early days, aswell as spurred me HARD to get some tunes on the site. He helped alot of people out with there music by putting the GNX CD's together, as well as a willingness to share his knowledge, and never asked for a dime( that I can remember).

I wish I'd never lost touch with that old crew from the old GnX forum's, Good bunch of guys.

My deepest condolence's to his wife Beth and the rest of the family.
He is probably Jamm'in with Jimi. I don't know what else to say other than thank- you & RIP :(
  • Hold the phone. Are we talking about Mike =G3456 = the supermodels guy? IF we are, this is one sad day for me.:cry:
  • For those who never knew him, Mike was an huge part of the old message board. He was always willing to give help whenever he could.

There was a time when he \"went off\" on people, and had done some questionable things that got him banned from this board.

But all that had changed, and Mike learned that anyone who didn't see things his way, were not attacking him. He learned to respect other opinions, and had really changed on Tonefarm.

I know this board meant a lot to him, and it really hurt him that he wasn't allowed back. He regretted his past actions and had truly changed his ways. He was a pleasure to talk to on Tonefarm.
  • Truely sad news :( I talked with him by e-mail and he was always very encouraging about recording music and helping when he could. I was thinking about him last week, wondering how he was.

What a shock to learn about this.

    Prayers for the family
  • :( I don't think I ever had a chat with Mike C but I read alot of his post and any musician will tell you that passion is part of the game. Mike seemed to have alot of that when it came to Music. I'll have to dig up some of his jams and givem another listen I bet he would like that. R.I.P. :(
  • I read a lot of Mikes post's on the old board. Didn't know the man but he did indeed seem very knowelgeable and passionate about his music. 8) .
    He will be missed...
