Butchered cover of another bar band I useta go see and really dug. Great RnR town I lived in. Good promoters.
Anyway...it ain't perfect...after I'll, I'm singing it! :oops: Plus I had a coupla studio and playing blunders I couldn't fix 'cuz I did it all on the GNX, and PTP woula done it but I can't run it. Andthe verse that starts \"YeahYeah, you don't have to tell just where you been\"...it has a great backing vocal but it's so high it's WAAAAY outta my range. I gotta find/write some soungs I can actually sing. So, I just left it as is.... but you get the idea. GREAT tune.
So, that's my opinion of it - I'd love to hear yours!

    Oh well. If you run into any supermodels, be sure to let me know and I'll be down there in a flash! :)
    Any thoughts on the tune? Ideas, suggestions (other than getting Gilmour or Gwen Stefani to sing for me?)

    Actually at a Christhmas party a couple years ago Rihanna was standing about 3ft away from me in the V.I.P tent.

    I was so drunk that night :lol:

    About the tune I like it, I think it's very catchy.

    Hey Shredd. Sounded like a cool tune!! Good job!! You and those background vocals. I will have to try some backup vocals or harmoney parts to something I post in the future. I think it adds alot to the song.

    Thanks Tal - I consider that a compliment, coming from a classy player like you, to a RnR hack like me.
    I'm too busy and stressed over my career flounderings to write much, so i'm covering stuff in an effort to keep myself playing and recording and maybe even learn how to use my PTP, so I can put a drum track in other than an infinitely repeating GNX4 loop. Look for more coming, as I'm still looking for songs that're somewhere in the neighborhood of my vocal range. Or at least in the same county. :lol:

    Thanks - I really dig this tune and I wish I had the voice for it, or at least a vocalist. I just can't work in that range without sounding like a strangled cat. But it's a great tune and I'll probably do a real cover of it when I can find a vocalist to do it with. I'd also clean up and flesh out the keyboard parts, and put a real drum track to it.

    I'm with ya there bud...but that's what the lyrics are. Whoever they wrote this tune about must be one saMOKin' hottie, if he'll take that from her...
