  • Hey shadow, thanks! I'm still able to check in here n there, and will until I'm kicked to the curb. Or 'til the Mrs sinks me in the river. If she wasn't so hott, there'd be a bounty on her head. :?
I'll be in limbo, but tryin' to make some plans, for the next month or two, while they travel. Once they're back, who knows. But at least I can still play my git'r... :D

I gotta say the board has been a little dead since you haven't been posting as much. Glad you can check in --take care

Thanks guys. It's fun to be here, and I really dig the interaction w/\"like-minded\" people, meaning people who're into music and playing. And can appreciate a rillllly tasty guitar(http://www.archtop.com/ac_74_ES_355.html).
Anyway...my disastrous job/housing scene has given me a slight reprieve...my employers are traveling and so I have until about mid-December until my situation totally implodes. Then...unless things have changed dramatically, I'll be resigning and out of here toot-sweet. So I'll haveta find a new place to live, and hopefully a new gig, or at least a job that'll pay the bills, while I decide if I have the stomach for another position like this. If I do, who knows where I'll end up? Hopefully in a town full of adoring hotties, or perhaps employed as Elizabeth Hurley's personal lingere dresser. :D
Thanks again to all of you for your support and good wishes. I'll be keeping you all up to date on the disaster, as well as normal posting and perhaps a few tunes, before I haveta put all my gear in storage for transition-time.
  • you know a bout a month ago iwas layed off and things were lookin really really bad...tryin hard to find anything but the econmy went to the pot around here in the land of a thousand factories(northern IN manufacturing hell) even my p.o. was threatening to send me back.....then out of the blue i get an email.from careerbuilder.com from conn-selmer, the horn makers now i am the guy who shapes and froms the bells for all of the trumpets they make rom low to high end at a starting pay of $18 per. so things are getting better... you never know when you think things get bad it just may be worth the wait...\\m/
  • Hey Shredd - glad to hear you got at least a temporary reprieve. If you are looking for cheap place to live, the cost of things is very reasonable down here in Texas. you can still buy a real nice house down here for under $150K. There are some decent jobs to be had, and plenty of lousy low pay ones, but at least its work. Good luck with your situation.

Plus there's an unlimited amount of hotties in Texas. You may need to wear a helmet as your head will explode.
Those online job sites sound interesting. Do you have anything lined up yet?

Thanks for the good vibes guys. I need it, I'm trying to stay cool, cross bridges as I come to them, etc...but I've definitely got some apprehension and anxiety going on. I haven't nailed down what my next situation is; whether to look for a new position like I have, or if I'd be happier doing something else; to stay in the beauty of the Rockies, or relocate so I have to fight the hotties off with a club. I'd empty vacuum cleaners for a living if I could come home to Marisa Miller and a hot tub.
