The Croc Hunter's Passing

I dont know how many of you guys knew him, but this week a classic Australian icon, Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter, died. He was filming a documentary underwater when a stingray that is normally placid rammed its barb directly into his heart, releasing poison. He was one of only 3 people to have died from stingrays in Australia.

It was sad to hear he died

, and the great Australian auto racer Peter Brock, was killed in an off road race accident too. At least they were doing what they loved when they met their maker.

Also from what I hear they are planning to release the video
of that sad day.

All, The Croc Hunter was awsome!! He Loved animals and so do I. So I would watch him when I could. His passion was amazing for that which he loved, may we learn from that & put that in to our passions & loves!! I tell you though it makes you think Only God knows what a day might bring forth. I hope we will all be ready for when our last one ends!! It will someday.

I highly doubt they will. It would be a very bloody video - doctors were unsure whether he died from blood loss, the stab would or poisoning - or all 3.

Yes and Peter Brock.... last week was a horrible week....

It was sad to hear. I didn't watch his shows much, but he is definitely an icon ... his work promoted education and awareness, I'm always for that.

Hey 'hoot...must be a sad day in Australia...he was kinda like a folk hero, not to mention a very noble guy when it came to conservation issues, which I admire him for. What a tragic thing, yet we should all wish to go doing what we love, eh?
So, any hott Aussie babes need comforting down there??? :twisted:
