On the Turning Away (Aitch Macman) - advice needed
I need some feedback on this:

I did vocals and I am still trying to mix them in good. After the mid section break I lowered volume on vox to see if it blends in better. Should I add any more reverb to vox to get them to blend in more. Lower volume on vox to get them to blend in more??
My buddy did the guitar work. Should I increase volume of his backing track (which includes solo etc) or should he increase volume of his guitar in mix.
Sorry many questions for a Tuesday, I have been trying to mix this all night

The vocals are pretty important in this tune. But make sure the guitar is heavy enough too. Not gnna be an easy mix, but I can't wait to hear it!
One thing the guy who taught me how to mix sound said was\"if something sounds too loud and out of place,it probly is, back it down\"Don't get into a headroom battle with the trax, meaning this up,that up, now this up, now that up more.Pretty soon you run out of space to go.Don't forget to give your ears a break every once in awhile. Keep'em fresh.
Over all great job, keep them com'in,love your Floyd tunes.
I will give it a tweak :?
