Just sweet! I love the beginning. It reminds me of Meatloaf and then you just blast in w/ that awesome guitar.

Great production. You obvioulsy have a good ear for putting it all together. The mastering sounds awesome as well. Great ending w/ that bell too.

Thanks for the kind words....Its was ablast to make. A man by the name of Marty help construct this tune. He did the drums and orchistra stuff.

Hey all,

I am new to the forum and this song (Flight of the Dragon) was one of the first things I checked out. I am just about to purchase the GNX3000 (had been trying to decide between the 3, 4, and 3000, the forum REALLY helped).

But, about the song: this song is one of the reasons I am buying the product! Not the song, per se, but what you did hits right in line with my intended use - my wife is a really good keyboard player and we just want to sit around and jam, maybe record a thing or two, and practice with each other. This song has great layers and a great mix of guitar and keys - LOVE IT! I'll put it on my MP3 player to listen to in the car!

Anyway, thanks for posting it... if I can ever get something recorded I'll post one and let you know.

really really good job...love the driving bass, did you do the bass as well? it fits great with the guitar...has the sound of a well produced piece. It certinally raises the bar for us bedroom pickers.

This was so cool…I loved the piano…great sounding fat Guitars…outstanding production…Marty did a beautiful job with the orchestration…this is exactly what I try to achieve but am a long way from succeeding…What did you use for the recording or sequencing? If the mp3 file sounds this good, I bet the master sounds awesome.

I don't know about that Kirk, you have some of the more interesting uses of different sonic textures that I've heard here. 8)

I used adobe audition2...not sure what Marty used...thinking Sonar??

Very polished sounding. I have been so wraped up with the band I have not had a good chance to expand and just let it go. Dad 5150 you have given me reason. Great job and awesome mix.
