Another Brick in the Wall (PF Full cover by Macman)

It's the Summer of George (or more aptly the summer of Floyd). I did the guitars and vocals on this one. Plus I did the voice over at the start of the track. All with GNX3000.

Hope you enjoy this. I did not spend too much time on this so the mixing etc may not be stella.

  • Hey macman great job on this song very trippy, love the delay, and the outro of george was perfect! 8)
  • Hey macman,

I listened to this a few times and I think it's top stuff :)

The mix sounds good to me, singing and tone = very good 8)

Don't kno why it's so quiet around here.
  • Maybe some of the regular peeps are on holiday or super busy catching all the world cup games,

by the way what was we doing against Sweden today, come on guys get it together....urghhhh
  • Did you run the voice at the beginning through an amp model? That was an interesting effect, however you did it. How did you get the synth/bass/drums, backing track?

Vocals sound great, I like them better than on the previous track you did. The double-tracked parts work really well.

The tone in the guitar solo is juicy! The modulation is thick and doesn't detract from the sound.

    What guitar did you use?
  • my mate over on Guitar 101 run my track through A mastering software he has and it now sounds a ton better I must post the resulting mp3..it is amazing.....thanks to Supercharged 350 for his efforts...I will post it

    Anyways:

Did you run the voice at the beginning through an amp model? That was an interesting effect, however you did it. How did you get the synth/bass/drums, backing track? - I used a backing track i found on guitarbt.com i think..I did the Scottish voice at beginning just used \"male vox\" in Garageband.

Vocals sound great, I like them better than on the previous track you did. The double-tracked parts work really well. - Thanks man. I am practicing my Vox a lot

The tone in the guitar solo is juicy! The modulation is thick and doesn't detract from the sound. - Cheers

What guitar did you use? - Ok for the clean and distorted rhythm I used my OLP Luke Guitar. FOr the Solo I used my trusty workhorse Squire Standard Strat...maybe one day Santa Claus will bring me a USA Strat

    Cheers Iliace
