Diferrent presets for Mic and Guitar
I have some new user questions...
How can I record the guitar and the mic with their own presets simultaneously using GNX4 internal recorder?
Is it possible to route the internal drum machine to a specific track while recording the guitar to another track? Again I'm trying to do this using the internal recorder. Do I have to record the drums first?
Is there a way to apply some effects to the drum machine (ex. reverb)?
Thanks in advance...

You cannot record drums and guitar simultaneously onto the internal recorder; you can only do that via USB into software. However, you can have the drums play along without committing them to track until a later point - similar to as you would with a standalone drum machine. Just put a MIDI file onto the CF card and you're good to go. Once you've recorded all your parts, leave two tracks to record drums.
You can \"reamp\" a single track, in mono, to add effects afterwards. Thus, if you record stereo drums, you'll have to add reverb to each stereo channel separately, otherwise the drums will get summed to mono for a much reduced sound quality.
If you're doing a serious mix, you would be well-advised to import your tracks into ProTracks or similar software to apply reverbs, etc. Or, record straight into PTP via USB - in which case turn off delays/reverbs until the mixing stage.
My day job is with computers all the time so I want to stay away a little while playing but I guess I kind of have to use it to be a future Yes
