Attention all GNX4 Guru's...Help needed, please!

Ok, I'm not even sure if this possible. I have some guitar tracks that were recorded DRY. I want to reamp them, while at the same time, send them out the 1/4\" output jack, into my half stack, and simultaneously record the result with my mic via the DRY MIC on the GNX4.

I know how to reamp, no problems. And I know how to record via a dry mic input. I just cant figure out how to do it all in one step...

When you reamp a track, I am pretty certain that you cannot record other tracks at the same time.

Well, I only want to record one track at a time - I want to reamp a dry guitar track, but I want to reamp it using my GNX4 effects AND my half stack.

james- I attempted those means last night and the recording is sub par. The signal levels were all over the place so reamping efx or anything else along with the mic'd amp did not work as well.

What you may have to do is get a USB or Firewire mic pre (XLR) In's, that wouldn't degrade the signal as much.

I'll mess with it later today and see what else I can come up with.

Hey thanks, mfx guy! Yeah, I dont know why the mic'd amp isnt super clear - I record vocals with the same mic and the GNX and its of great quality... BTW, your sounds are killer! My user bank is 90% filled up with your effects!! Any updates or new patches I should be downloading?

Thanks anyways zap, Im not really trying to send my signal to two places. I just wanted know if the GNX4 could reamp a track and record via the dry mic at the same time...
