Samson SX 1200

Has anyone had experience with the Samson SX 1200 power amp? I will be using it to drive a pair of 1980ish Acculab 440s. 8 ohm speakers with 12 inch woofer, two 4 inch mids and a tweeter as a studio reference setup. I may move on to different speakers once I get over the sticker shock of getting my \"studio\" construction paid for.

That should be fine. I have 6 SX1500's in our PA rigs. Never had a problem in the last 3.5 yrs of owning. They get beat up in transit but are in shock proof racks.
