Noise when running in stereo

Hi,

I've connected two amps for the first time to the gnx4. I get a lot of buzz thru the amps, particularly the Fender Blues Jr. It's not the cables. If I disconnect one of the amps, buzz is gone.

One other thing: when I fire up the gnx4 sometimes it doesn't \"connect\" to the amp and I have to restart it. Is that common?

Does it work fine when you connect just the right amp? In other words, does the stereo problem disappear regardless of which amp you disconnect?

Sounds like a classic case of ground loop. A power conditioner or ground lift box can fix it.

I don't have any recommendations other than to talk to your local instrument store for pricing on the various options. That, or Google it.

GNX4 has a ground/lift switch.

That only affects the XLR outputs though - I believe.
